$6.5M Permit Issued for Farolito Senior Community
The City of Albuquerque issued 24 commercial building permits between Sept. 16 and Sept. 20.
The permit for the largest project in terms of square footage and estimated cost was issued on Sept. 19 to Hannah Greenhood for a new building at 10501 Central Ave. NE. The project is estimated to be about 80,310 square feet. The estimated cost of the work is about $6.47 million. The work will be done by Jaynes Corp. and Dekker.
The new building will be a a four-story apartment building with an elevator and 82 one- and two-bedroom senior apartments called the Farolito Apartments. Farolito Apartments LLLP was picked by the New Mexico State Land Office in December 2022 after a public bid request in September 2022.
